Imperial Consulting, Inc. was founded in 1997 to service the financial investment community. We have grown through the mini computer, personal computer and web evolution. Our team is a group of highly experienced technologists who are well versed in both current software technologies and business development.

Our key members are:

PK Shiu

A twenty-year-plus technologist, PK has built many industry leading applications in the U.S. Financial and Market Data industries. He has built and managed global development teams and deployed applications in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Currently he is leveraging the technology and networks of the social media space to build web applications for companies in the education, financial, bio-medical and other industries.

A typical multi-rooted Hong Kong native, he lived and worked in Asia, Europe and America. He has a Comp Sci from Imperial in London as well as an MBA from Boston.

Mr. Shiu is on the board of two local non-profits in his community, South End of Boston: Friends of Peters Park and, Friends of South End Library. He is also on the board of Graph It Forward, a national non-profit for helping students in need of calculators for high school. He also serves on the technology committee of Park Street School in Boston.

Michelle Fullwood

Michelle is a computer scientist and linguist from Cornell. Her expertise in the Django platform for developing web applications helped us deliver many applications for our clients in different industries, ranging from education to biomedical.

Jeremy Bowman

Jeremy has been developing software for over 12 years in the fields of education, finance, and commerce. Among the projects he has developed are online testing engines, genetic algorithms for operations research, a reporting system for financial advisors, and a database application for portable devices. Jeremy has developed software optimized for systems ranging from PDAs to multi-processor UNIX workstations, but has particular expertise in designing web applications in Java, Python, and Ruby.

Jeremy earned a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Operations Research, both from MIT.

Renee Mitson

A Public Relations and Marketing Communications student, Renee enjoys researching social media, web trends, and working in multimedia design. A self-proclaimed Mac enthusiast, Renee hunts for applications and media tools that help to make communicating a little easier. She is a senior at Simmons College, splitting her time between Imperial Consulting, studies, and hanging out with her pet hedge hog.
