Imperial Consulting, Inc. was founded in 1987 to service the financial investment community. We have grown through the mini computer, personal computer and web evolution. Our team is a group of highly experienced technologists who are well versed in both current software technologies and business development.
PK Shiu
A twenty-year-plus technologist, PK has built many industry leading applications in the U.S. Financial and Market Data industries. He has built and managed global development teams and deployed applications in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Currently he is leveraging the technology and networks of the social media space to build web applications for companies in the education, financial, bio-medical and other industries.
A typical multi-rooted Hong Kong native, he lived and worked in Asia, Europe and America. He has a Computer Engineering degree from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London as well as an MBA from Boston. He is currently an MIT Advanced Study Fellow catching up on the latest topics at the Institute.
Mr. Shiu is on the board of two local non-profits in his community, South End of Boston: Friends of Peters Park and, Friends of South End Library. He is also on the board of Graph It Forward, a national non-profit for helping students in need of calculators for high school. He also serves on the technology committee of Park Street School in Boston.
